Netherlands athlete Irene Wust has won gold in today's Speed Skating Ladies' 3000m competition.
The 27-year-old, who won two gold medals at the last two Winter Olympics, recorded a time of 4:00.34 to seal first place.
Defending champion Martina Sablikova of the Czech Republic won silver, while Olga Graf won the Russian Federation's first medal of the Sochi Winter Games by securing bronze.
The Dutch Olympic team currently occupies second place in the Sochi medal standings, with two golds, a silver and a bronze.
