Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu has become the youngest winner of the men's free skating gold for 66 years after triumphing in the Winter Olympic Games.
Hanyu, who set a world-record score of 10.45 in the short programme on Thursday, won with a total score of 280.09.
He had put in a disappointing routine in the free programme, however, falling twice.
Canadian Patrick Chan won silver, while Kazakhstan's Denis Ten won his country's first medal of the Games by taking home bronze.
